Independent publisher Your Book Angel recently announced the release of the remarkably skilled author Scott Rosenberg who dives deep into this ethical ocean with his new piece of fiction “Obsession”. “Obsession”, tells the riveting story of a romance that ends up involving four-people, what may be true love, a fair share of deceit, and the very real lingering threat of danger of the worst kind. Will all four make it through this passage intact? Or will their obsession get the best of them? Rosenberg answers these questions and more, in his new book which is next to impossible to put down.
“Obsession started out as an idea from a program I had been watching,” said Scott Rosenberg. “This reminded me of both a jealous streak and a part of me that knew what to do in any given situation. John Terrell had the side of me that was easily jealous of people getting what they wanted all the time. Tony Bionka had the trait of me that was cool-headed in any situation.”
Rosenberg continued, “The other characters, the women were similar to me, as well. Amy Pullman had the tendency of worrying too much of what people thought of her. Trina Becker, however, possessed the notion that everything had to be under her control. This was whether she wanted to be the one driving, or had to be the one to make the plans. From there I just let my imagination run wild with it.”
His ability to develop the characters in “Obsession” is quite remarkable, with chances being most readers will be able to see some of themselves in John Terrell, with his bad temper and near uncontrollable jealous streak or his friend Tony Bionka, aware of these qualities, but always trying to work around them or make excuses for them. Then comes the two girls, Trina Becker and Amy Pullman, whose presence throws fuel to the fire that eventually causes a blaze none of them were quite ready for.
“Obsession” is certainly not a book someone who enjoys or is fascinated by a love triangle gone to the next level would want to miss.
