To kick off its anniversary celebration, World Emblem will host an in-house celebration at which time current President and CEO Randy Carr will broadcast a short speech thanking World Emblem’s loyal and dedicated team members, particularly those whom have worked for World Emblem for 15 years or longer.
WORLD EMBLEM HISTORY
World Emblem was founded by Jerold Carr in 1993. Jerold’s sons, Jamie and Randy, have been deeply involved in the company since its inception. After Jerold’s passing in 2000, Randy became the new CEO of the company. Jamie covers the markets in Canada and Michigan as well as being a Shareholder. Randy currently oversees all business initiatives, IT projects, expansions and acquisitions.
WORLD EMBLEM PRESENT DAY
In November 2017, World Emblem received the Passion for Partnership Award from Aramark, a $12 billion-dollar food service, facilities, and uniform service corporation. In only a weekend’s time, the team at World Emblem salvaged a poor-quality order Aramark received from another vendor. Aramark presented the award to World Emblem for going above and beyond, exceeding expectations, and providing a high-quality product in a very short timeframe. World Emblem was the first company to receive this award.
These years of experience were vital for Randy’s development as an effective leader. Through the expansion of his skills and experience, Randy has successfully grown World Emblem to a company with 800 employees earning $30 million dollars a year. They are also the world’s largest supplier to the industrial uniform industry.
CUTTING-EDGE INNOVATION
To get World Emblem to where the company is today, Randy employs cutting-edge innovation. As a result, the company is known to adopt and test new technologies to speed up production and make new products. It is this level of creativity that allows World Emblem to maintain a low turnaround time and high customer service satisfaction.
World Emblem’s products are also widely recognized. In 2017, World Emblem introduced FlexStyle®, which gives emblems and decorations a sophisticated, three-dimensional look. These emblems easily apply to most surfaces such as fabric, plastic or glass for use on apparel, caps, tumblers, bags, and bottles. Innovations like FlexStyle® give World Emblem a competitive edge so they may remain an industry leader.
VIVID VISION FOR THE FUTURE
In recognition of the team’s hard work, World Emblem will hold a special celebration at each location for employees. The celebration will include newly-designed, limited edition 25th anniversary emblems with new polo shirts. Randy Carr will also outline his vision for the company in the future.
The entire team at World Emblem is proud to have created an environment where employees are a part of a close-knit community. Moving forward, World Emblem intends to continue innovating and moving forward into the future of apparel and hard goods decorations.
