Donald A. “Donnie” Moss, retired pastor/evangelist, has released the book, “The Elijah Awakening” to bring hope to the Christian church. In the book he speaks about a spiritual renewal in America that will provide encouragement and hope in a time of vast hardship given what the world has been through of late. It is available online everywhere books are sold.
The Elijah Awakening revisits in detail the historical conflict between the prophet Elijah and those who led ancient Israel astray. With this historical account, the book calls Christian Americans to prayerful action and to become like modern “Elijahs” to help cast a bright light across the nation. An entire chapter is devoted to the notion that American women will come to the forefront as effective leaders in pursuit of the common good. The book will be of particular interest to those seeking spiritual encouragement and a hopeful glimpse into America’s future.
Moss stated, “When hearts are turned toward God, the results are miraculous. Elijah flashed across the pages of the Old Testament and was delivered to heaven in a whirlwind with a chariot and horses of fire. In my book The Elijah Awakening, my hope is expressed that a similar deliverance will flash across America with a powerful energy for good. The spiritual paradigm is about to change and folks need to prepare for a great awakening.”
