Sydney, Australia (PRUnderground) August 8th, 2016
There are a lot of ‘firsts’ happening in the vegan business world lately, including the creation of innovative food, fashion and other products.
The annual VegNews magazine’s Veggie Awards recognizes several of these brands in its nominations for 2016, including the first ever vegan business podcast: Vegan Business Talk.
The weekly show launched in January this year. Each episode features an indepth interview with a vegan business owner or entrepreneur from across the globe sharing their secrets of success, followed by a roundup of latest vegan business news.
The podcast is the brainchild of Katrina Fox, author of Vegan Ventures: Start and Grow an Ethical Business – the first book of its kind – and founder of Vegan Business Media, a multi-media content platform, consultancy, training and events company providing success tips for vegan business owners and entrepreneurs.
“I couldn’t believe it when I saw Vegan Business Talk in the list of nominations for Favorite Podcast. There’s so many amazing contenders in the category, including some renowned and longstanding vegan and animal advocacy podcasts,” said Fox. “I’m thrilled to be included and so grateful to all my guests to date, who generously share their insights, experience and expertise in running a business on ethical vegan principles. They’re what makes the show what it is.”
Vegan Business Talk is available on iTunes, Stitcher Radio and Tunein, as well as the VeganBusinessMedia.com website.
While Fox resides in Sydney, Australia, the majority of the podcast’s audience are in the US, followed by Australia, the UK and Canada.
Guests so far include Seth Tibbott from Tofurky, Miyoko Schinner from Miyoko’s Kitchen, Nil Zacharias from One Green Planet, Julieanna Hever, the Plant-Based Dietitian, Fran Costigan, Victoria Moran from Main Street Vegan, Joy Pierson and Bart Potenza from Candle Café, T.K. Pillan from Veggie Grill, vegan investors Liz Dee and Sebastiano Cossia Castiglioni and many more.
