Torch Cigar Bar’s NFL Members’ Auction Helps Metro Phoenix Boys & Girls Club

Torch Cigar Bar in Phoenix provides an extensive selection of fine cigars and spirits that members and guests can enjoy in a luxurious setting. Former NFL players Andre Reed and Richie Incognito are joining forces with Torch for a live auction event on Tuesday, December 18 at 4:30 pm at the bar. The funds raised will benefit the Metro Phoenix Boys & Girls Club.

Reed and Incognito, both of whom are members of Torch Cigar Bar, will help host the fundraiser, which will include celebrity poker, a Man vs. Cigar event, and a cornhole tournament. Torch will offer specials on My Father cigars, and sports radio station 1580 the Fanatic will broadcast the event live from the Arizona Cigar Bar.

Torch has already collected over 30 brand new bikes for the Boys & Girls Club in the lead-up to the auction, and they hope to be able to donate over 50 total bikes with the funds from the event.

Reed has paired up with Torch Cigar Bar in the past to support the Boys & Girls Club, a charity that he believes makes a significant impact on young lives.

“We have a great love and support for what these guys do for the kids,” said Reed. “We do our charity at Torch every year, but it looks like this is going to be our best year by far.”

Andre Reed played 15 seasons for the Buffalo Bills from 1985 to 1999 and was selected to play in seven consecutive Pro Bowls. He was regarded as one of the greatest “yards after catch” receivers, and his 951 career receptions ranked third in NFL history. He still holds the Bills’ all-time leading receiver record and is tied with running back Thurman Thomas for most career touchdowns.

Reed will be joined by a number of NFL and MLB players who will be supporting the event, including former Bills offensive lineman Richie Incognito. Incognito said he has a deep respect for Reed, not only for his football prowess but also for his desire to help the people around him.

“Andre is a Hall of Famer, so I have a lot of respect for him, and he also does a lot of great things for the kids,” said Incognito. “I’m just happy to be a part of this community.”
