Torch Cigar Bar Donates 50 Bikes to Phoenix Boys & Girls Club

While serving the comfort of its customers, Torch also serves the needs of its community and recently donated 50 bikes to children at the Phoenix Metro Boys & Girls Club.

Last month, Torch joined forces with NFL legends, including Andre Reed (who is Member #3 at Torch) and Richie Incognito (Member #40), to sponsor a charity auction and other fundraising events at Torch. The events were also supported by former NFL players Seth Joyner and Bryant Westbrook and former MLB player Damon Buford (Member #7). The support from these athletes and proceeds from Torch members allowed the bar to purchase the bikes for the Boys and Girls Club.

“We delivered them just in time for the holidays to some very deserving and wonderful children,” said Jon Harrington, Torch Co-founder. “It was something that the kids won’t forget, and neither will we. We love this community and feel it a huge blessing to be able to give back.”

This was the third year for Torch’s December charity initiative and the best year by far in terms of earnings. Torch has contributed to a number of charitable causes in the Valley of the Sun, including Read with Reed, Cigars for Warriors, the Phoenix Police Department, the American Legion, the Richie Incognito Foundation, the ASPCA, and the American Cancer Society.
