Halloween weekend is almost upon us! If you’re trying to keep the kids entertained (or want to partake yourself) the kind people at Apex Self Storage Manchester have compiled a list of the top 5 things to do with the kids this Halloween in Manchester.

Halloween at Red House Farm

With an inflatable slide, barrel train ride, climbing wall, trampolines and much more. There is plenty to do at Red House Farm this weekend. Every child can also pick up a spook hunt form – find all the Halloween themed signs hidden around the courtyard to win a prize. You and the kids can get dressed up to enter the free fancy dress competition or pay a little extra to take part in the pumpkin carving! Saves making a mess at home and you take it home with you!

Spooky Spectacular Open Day at Wythenshawe Hall

It’s all about ghostly ghouls and haunted histories as the hall opens up for a Spooky Spectacular event on Sunday, October 25. For spectacular, spooky stories with Wythy Witch, apple bobbing and pass the pumpkin, there is plenty of fun to be had. The event is from 12pm to 4pm. Admission is 50p and free for babies! Pumpkin Rolling at the Corn Exchange

An American tradition – pumpkin rolling is coming to Manchester this Halloween.

Meeting outside the Corn Exchange, there will be a race every 15 minutes, between 11am and 12pm on Sunday 30th October. The winners will get spooky rosettes, which they can show at Vapiano restaurant in Corn Exchange for a free dessert!

Pumpkin Picking at Kenyon hall Farm

Pick your own pumpkin at Kenyon Hall Farm! Entry is free and then you pay for your own pumpkin, with the cost ranging from £1 to £10 depending on size. You can carve your pumpkin with Winnie and her fairies for an additional £3 per pumpkin. With hourly spooky stories, this will really get you in the Halloween mood! Open from 9.30am to 5.30pm daily. Manchester Halloween zombie walk returns to The Printworks

For the grown up Halloween Fans (particularly those of you who love The Walking Dead!) pre-registration is recommended, with only a maximum 2,500 able to take part. It is thought to be the only Halloween parade of its kind in the country.

You can register now here or on the day from 4pm at the Printworks Pump Yard. Only those in costume can take part in the parade!
