Tiny Transitions’ Slumber Squad has one mission: to help babies sleep through the night. The Squad is pleased to welcome its newest member, Erin Forish, who will provide personalized coaching to help families in the greater Philadelphia area get back on track with sleep schedules.

Forish’s decision to become a pediatric sleep coach with Tiny Transitions started after her own experiences in the trenches of young motherhood. Forish’s successful corporate background includes 19 years of relationship management, retirement plan administration, budgeting and financial analysis. After having her third child, and reliving the initial sleepless newborn/infant nights, Forish decided to step out of the corporate world. Her goal was to spend more quality time with her family and to pursue her passion for helping other parents during those exhausting, and sometimes debilitating, sleep struggles.

“I had three children under age four, and I lived in a world of muddled thinking and sheer exhaustion,” said Forish. “I thought I could figure it out by myself, but when I finally hired a sleep coach, my world turned right side up again. It was life changing.”

Forish earned her sleep coaching certification and joined the Tiny Transitions team earlier this year. She serves families in Philadelphia as well as the suburbs of Blue Bell and Conshohocken.

Along with my training and sleep consultant certification, I bring a lot of empathy and a judgment-free approach because I’ve been there myself,” said Forish.

Tiny Transitions’ Slumber Squad includes a dozen coaches from across the U.S. with backgrounds in lactation, education, occupational therapy, human resources, engineering and corporate careers. They provide services in Spanish and English. Their services start with a consultation followed by a sleep plan and private coaching-either in-person or virtual.

The Slumber Squad’s proprietary SleepSteps® method was developed based on research from physician assistants, psychologists, lactation counselors and doulas. It is designed for infants as well as toddlers experiencing sleep regression. Tiny Transitions uses a customized approach to help shape a strong sleep foundation from birth through elementary school, ensuring that children get the rest they need to be their best.

“There is no sleep method that works for every parent and child. We have many methods at our disposal and customize an approach to each family based on their unique needs,” said Courtney Zentz, Tiny Transitions Founder and President.

Zentz is one of the nation’s foremost authorities on sleep training whose expertise is sought after by national media such as Parentology, Romper, Yahoo, Fatherly, and Thrive Global. In addition to providing sleep coaching through her company’s Slumber Squad, Zentz trains sleep coaches nationwide to enhance their services and market their businesses.
