With the focus of attracting the best talent in the industry, Fortis Lux Financial announces it’s most recent acquisition of John SanFilippo, who has been best serving his clients since 2009. Over the last 8 years, John has built his practice helping his clients with their insurance and planning needs.
“As an experienced financial advisor I look at my integration into the Fortis Lux platform as a better way to service my clients and provide financial stability for those that seek financial advice from our firm” John SanFilippo said.
John started his financial advising career in 2009 with AXA Advisors. His main focus here included working with the retirement benefits group by helping school employees maximize their retirement benefits offered by the school district. Two years later in 2011, he moved to Forest Hills Financial Group to not only continue to help school employees, but work with a broader spectrum of planning for his clients.
In 2016, John made the decision to open up his own insurance agency, where he built a model to help his clients with all of their insurance concerns. Your Choice Advisors offers protection, health and property & casualty solutions. As a Long Island based firm, he and his partner have been able to reinvent their client experience by utilizing a comprehensive “macroeconomic” planning process.
John received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Plattsburgh State University in 2009. John was the former Fordham University Men’s Soccer goalkeeper coach for 4 years. He enjoys coaching soccer on Long Island and has worked with players of all different ages and skill levels, including both young and professional players. John currently resides in Lindenhurst, NY with his wife and son.
