Woodland Park, Colorado (PRUnderground) March 26th, 2016
An audio book version of The Boy Who Ran, which won the 2014 Independent Publisher’s Book Award, was released on March 25, 2016.
The book was written by Michael Selden (Woodland Park Press LLC), and narrated by Lyssa Browne (Cedar House Audio).
THE BOY WHO RAN is a story of courage and friendship set 6000 years ago in North America—in Ohio. The boy is orphaned when his village is massacred and he escapes to the forest, running for days before being found by a hunting party from another village. The story follows the boy during one late summer as he finally comes to terms with the traumatic event that killed his parents. The boy has spent much of his time alone in the forest, feeling more kindship with the “other” animals of the forest than with The People of the village. This is the story of his struggle to find out who he is and follows his voyage of discovery as he and the villagers each begin to learn something about each other.
The Boy Who Ran was originally published in November 2013 and is available now in paperback, Kindle, epub, and audible audio formats.
