About the Surtronic S-Series
The Surtronic S-100 series is the newest addition to the Surtronic range of roughness testers. It builds upon the capabilities of the previous model, Surtronic 25. ‘The ability to measure the strip surface finish is a critical part of the process. The Surtronic S-Series provides excellent accuracy, repeatability and is easy to use. The full portability is essential to make the measurement on the Strip Products. An added bonus is the versatility of the instrument utilising the unique pickup lift mechanism. This allows the measurement of both rolls and the flat steel with minimum effort.
Data Storage facility can analyse measurements away from the shop floor.
This will be used to monitor work roll wear to optimise the roll life.’
