Product enhancements include improved stability, tighter security and enhanced user experience

Mission Viejo, Ca (PRUnderground) April 19th, 2016

SwitchRay, a leading vendor of telecommunications software, recently announced several value-added improvements to its Class 4 and Class 5 VoIP Platform. These new improvements provide transit carriers and service providers with a more stable and scalable solution to better fit their business needs. The enhanced and easy to use web interface simplifies softswitch management.

One of the updated features includes an encryption support (SIP/TLS, Media/SRTP) to ensure secure communication between servers. The newly enhanced Class 4 solution includes IP v6 support, allowing the platform to work in networks supporting both IP v4 and IP v6 protocols. There are also now more options for CDR management, including access to CDR settings and a statistics display, as well as different variants of CDR export. The web interface contains easy-to-understand file names, quick search and simple transitioning to related tables. Notification alarm methods include SMS added to e-mail, SNMP-traps and EMS.

The Class 5 softswitch enhancements includes increased scalability and automation to simplify operation management and provide a more flexible user experience. The improved failover mechanism offers an enhanced auto dialer, telemarketing auto dialer and auto voice-messaging. The messaging support works for SwitchRay’s softphone, Mayak Mobile (version 2.0 and higher).

“We are very pleased to announce the addition of these new features for our Class 4 and Class 5 softswitches, making it even more scalable, stable and easy-to-use,” commented Steve Petilli, President & CEO of SwitchRay. “Our mission is to help transit carriers and service providers expand their business operations and thereby increase their revenue.”
