This show will discuss how Companies can mitigate risk from not just natural disasters such as fire, earthquake, floods or tornados, but also what they should be aware of and how to lessen the damage from man-made disasters including, but not limited to employees slipping and falling, cyber-theft, clients not receiving property, liable, quality issues, employee issues, among others.

Recently the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reported on a new study that said that 40% of businesses NEVER reopen after a disaster hits their Company and another 25% fail within one year after a disaster.   The Small Business Association (SBA) said that after a Company experienced a disaster within 2 years 90% actually fail.  It is a misconception that insurance awards and aid from government agencies will allow businesses to pick up the pieces after a flood, earthquake, fire, cybercrime, employee accident or employee complaint.  The reality is that many types of disasters are not covered under normal insurance policies and aid from government agencies may be too little or too late to help.
