Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q Supports Me Fine Foundation With July Fundraiser

The North Carolina restaurant group has agreed to donate 5% of all sales from their Wake and Johnston County locations on Tuesday, July 28th to the Me Fine Foundation.

The Me Fine Foundation is proud to announce they have partnered with Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q on a day-long fundraiser. The North Carolina restaurant group has agreed to donate 5% of all sales from their Wake and Johnston County locations on Tuesday, July 28th to the Me Fine Foundation. The funds raised will provide financial assistance and emotional support programs to parents and caregivers whose children are receiving long-term medical treatment from Duke and UNC Children’s Hospitals.
Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q has long been a supporter of the Me Fine Foundation as the two organizations share Johnston County ties. In past years Smithfield’s has donated food, gift cards and been a supporting sponsor of the Me Fine Gala. The July 28th fundraiser hopes to provide a major boost to Me Fine’s mission to help critically ill children and their families. Me Fine’s financial support including mortgage/rent assistance to prevent eviction, utility payments to halt disconnection, grocery bills, payment of medical bills, and even help with final expenses.
