SilverLakes to Welcome More Than 14,000 Competitive High School Runners to Norco

For the second consecutive year, the Woodbridge Cross Country Invitational will be held September 15-16, 2017 at SilverLakes, a 130 acre multifunctional sports, equestrian and entertainment venue in Norco, California. This is the 2^nd largest cross country meet in the country and draws more than 14,000 competitive runners.

“We are pleased to once again welcome thousands of competitive cross country runners to SilverLakes. I know many kids are excited to set a personal best on our even and manicured terrain under the lights this Friday and Saturday. At SilverLakes, we welcome this opportunity to continue to support young athletes in reaching their full athletic potential,” said RJ Brandes, General Manager.

The first section will begin on Friday, September 15 at 4:50 p.m. and will feature the Red and White divisions.  On Saturday, racing starts at 3:50 p.m. and will feature the Blue and Gold divisions.   At last years event, records were broken and we are anticipating new records this year.

“SilverLakes was incredibly supportive in helping us relocate our Invitational. We were so impressed by the facilities last year and are expecting our largest crowd ever for this signature event,” said George Vargas, organizer of this important event.
