Second Annual Pre-Labor Day Weekend Experience hosted by Oxygen Bad Girl’s Club member Aysia Garza

LaToya Hurley of Innovating Marketing & Management, La Bella Elise and Swaggacity.com were excited to present The “Pre Labor Day Weekend Experience” which was a lovely reminder, once again, that people can come together to do and share good. The weekend began with the Women’s Empowerment Brunch and Launch Party for “Inside My Look” on Saturday August 29^th, 2015 at Davis Street Restaurant located at 5925 Almeda Rd Houston TX, 77004. Brunch included a delicious combination of shrimp, grits, waffles, potatoes, hash, scrambled eggs, & unlimited liquor. Guests were able to shop exclusively with vendors A Daily Diva and her high end luxury brand name shoes, bags, and sunglasses, one lucky winner received a pair of authentic Chanel sunglasses. Other vendors included Ashley Monet’s elegant jewelry line, and Sundaze Maze swim wear. After the shopping slowed down, the Panel Discussion on Business & Branding began. Speakers included Innovating Marketing & Management Founder LaToya Hurley, Salon Owner/Author & Cosmetology Instructor Jeanette Huff, Celebrity Makeup Artist Moni P, Founder of A Daily Diva Monique Nelms, and VH1 Love & Hip Hop personality/Boutique Owner Cyn Santana. The women touched on topics including the power of social media, business strategies that will take your business to the next level, breaking into the beauty industry, branding 101, and tax breaks for beauty professionals. The discussion was motivating and inspirational to women who are looking to become an entrepreneur. The day ended with a media wrap up which included Meeko Spark TV, The Session TV, Dr. Dawn Radio, & Hip Hop Weekly.

The weekend ended on a fun note with the 2^nd Annual “All White” Pre-Labor Day Celebrity Fashion Show on Sunday August 30^th, 2015. The event was held at Mr. Peeples restaurant, located at 1911 Bagby St Houston TX, 770002. The ambience included breathtaking crystal chandeliers, contemporary art and champagne. As guest started to arrive they strolled the red carpet in their swanky white attire, and media captured pictures to preserve the moment. The evening was hosted by Oxygen Network’s Bad Girls Club member Aysia Garza. Aysia was truly a pleasure as she entertained the crowd with a funny personality in between the different segments of the fashion show. There were 11 designers who took part in the show, looks included Oxygen Network’s Bad Girls Club Aysia Garza’s online boutique “Inside My Look”, Sexy lingerie from La Bella Elise, Pardon My Fash-Uhn, Silent Reign, LuvXoxo Boutique, Baxter Bowties, Sundaze Made, Kandi Kinis, Born Poor Live Rich, & Lux Monroe Boutique. The designers featured there fall looks of unique fabrics and edgy designs. Guests were also entertained during the course of the evening by recording artist by Artists So Trael, Aida Maze and Shun Ward, each performed their hit single. Guest speakers included Author Earnest Eastland and Brett Scudder from SISFI who talked about the impact of suicide and. VIP Guests were offered complimentary food, drinks, delicious Sweet Strawberry and Cookies N’ Cream boxed chocolate treats from Sweet Reis and provided liquor infused jello shots from Koffi’s Jello Bar. Media who attend included Hip Hop Weekly, Meeko Spark TV, The Session TV, Dr. Dawn Radio, Houston Style Magazine, and Blog Akello Chic.
