Slated to expand to other cities by the end of 2021, the company is an online marketplace that connects customers to local chefs. Consumers go online, choose a chef to make prepared meals, pick a date for doorstep delivery, and pay through the site. Once the order is confirmed, the chef prepares the meal, and either they or a member of SareFood.com delivers it on the assigned date. No subscriptions. No hassle.
Vineet Sharma, the CEO of SareFood.com, said, “We’re still a small start-up with twenty-five chefs on board but, we see phenomenal sales with our pre-made meals. We think we’re the best meal delivery in the St. Louis metro area with a proven concept, $90k in sales thus far, and nearly 500 customers since picking up the pace in 2020.”
