SAFE Credit Union to Sponsor Sacramento Speakers Series

Sacramento Speakers Series announced today that SAFE Credit Union has again agreed to sponsor the upcoming 2018-2019 season.  This exciting season starts this September with American Politician Leon Panetta on September 26, 2018.  The lineup continues with the world’s funniest man John Cleese, geo-political expert Ian Bremmer, celebrated actress Diane Keaton, academy award winner Marlee Matlin, and national geo-explorer Dan Buettner.   SAFE Credit Union will be recognized on Wednesday February 20, 2019 at the Diane Keaton event.   SAFE will also be supporting the Speakers Series’ Share the Vision program for the entire season.  This program allows local high school students to meet each speaker in an intimate and unscripted reception before the night’s lecture, and then attend the event free of charge.

Managing principal and attorney Mitchell Ostwald expressed his pride in the partnership: “SAFE is not only a valuable financial resource for families and businesses in the greater Sacramento region, but also a significant contributor to the community, providing funding for scholarships to college bound high school seniors, to the Academic Decathlon, to the Aerospace Museum, and to KVIE’s “ViewFinder,” the only locally produced series about our community, to name just a few of its many philanthropic and volunteer efforts.”
