Rogue Community Health is a nonprofit, Federally Qualified Health Center with origins dating back to 1972 when the Ashland Women’s Health Center opened its doors with an all-volunteer staff. The organization has since grown to offer several health-related services to low-income and underserved populations across the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. Expanded from its original Ashland location, they also have services available in Medford, Butte Falls, White City, and Eagle Point.
Over its 50 years as a nonprofit organization, Rogue Community Health has grown beyond primary care to also include dental care, behavioral health, nutrition, pharmacy, and more. Additionally, its broad range of services include support to address social determinants of health such as food insecurity, lack of housing, transportation, etc. For situations when patients can’t leave their homes, Rogue Community Health offers virtual health care services that use secure, two-way video conferencing.
Staffed by highly-trained and experienced professionals whose primary goal is to provide quality health care assistance, RCH embraces healthcare and human services as a right and a privilege fueling their mission to provide vibrant health for all, especially the most vulnerable, in partnership with the community.
Starting as an all-volunteer staff, Rogue Community Health now employs nearly 300 workers and continuously works to expand and improve their scope of service. As RCH has grown, it has garnered national recognition. In 2014, it was designated as a Tier 3 level Patient-Centered Primary Care Home (PCPCH) by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Most recently, the Oregon Health Authority PCPCH Program recognized Rogue Community Health as one of the few 5-star clinics in the state.
You can receive high-quality, comprehensive health care at Rogue Community Health at one of their many locations across the Rogue Valley.
