The largest cedar wood supplier in Colorado, Rocky Mountain Forest Products (RMFP), is no stranger to home renovation and remodeling projects. Each year they provide building materials to over 2500 contractors. For the past ten years, their sister company, Granite Liquidators, has been sourcing premium granite slabs from Brazil and India for use in Colorado homes. Their reputation for quality products earned them the opportunity to provide the granite used in a Magnolia Network episode of “In With the Old,” featuring a home in Boulder, Colorado.
Since it opened its doors in 1974, Rocky Mountain Forest Products has worked tirelessly to provide its customers with quality lumber products directly from the mill. Eliminating the middle-man has allowed them to keep their prices lower than many competitors, providing superior building materials to Denver customers at a lower price. Over the next four decades, the company has diversified its offerings to include a greater variety of home building and finishing materials. Granite Liquidators is the channel through which they can extend the same savings and service RMFP customers have come to expect from the company in providing beautiful finishing touches for Colorado homes.
Launched in 2021, “In With the Old” is a show about transforming old, historical homes, restoring their structural integrity, and giving them new life and purpose. “The old architecture of early Colorado homes is part of the history of this great state. These homes mark settlements of early miners, trappers, and settlers across the state,” remarked Taylor Poole, Chief Growth Officer for Rocky Mountain Forest Products. “We are proud to be a part of restoring a piece of Colorado history and updating it with modern building materials to help it stand the test of time.”
With three locations along Denver’s front range in Arvada, Colorado Springs, and Denver, Rocky Mountain Forest Products has served over one million customers in Colorado. Professionals and DIYers alike source building products such as cedar siding, composite decking, and specialty lumber through the company each year. Named in LBM Journal in their list of Top 100 U.S. Lumberyards, RMFP supports the Colorado community by providing high-quality building materials ideal for the harsh Colorado weather conditions.
“Years of experience have taught our team what it takes to build fences, decks, and other structures that will stand the test of time even though the harshest winters and driest summers,” said Poole. “We strive to pass on that knowledge and experience to our customers, so they can leave their own mark on Colorado history and enjoy everything they build for years to come.”
