Rock Music CEO Jamall Robinson Jumps Safely From Single-Engine Plane After Experiencing Engine Failure

Rock Music CEO Jamall Robinson is safe after being forced to jump from his single engine plan when it experienced engine failure over Lake Tahoe, CA. Robinson was a student pilot in his 2013 A IAT Husky A-1C-180.

A nearby the South Lake Tahoe Highway Patrol Officer noticed the plane coming down and witnessed Robinson and another person ejecting from the plane into the lake. The officer swiftly jumped into action, diving into the lake to pull Robinson and the other man back to shore.

The CEO of I Rock Music, Inc., a music distribution company that’s also making its foray into app development and innovation, Robinson is best known for his hit single, “You and Me,” with multi-platinum R&B singer Marques Houston. He is also the creative force behind the Amazon original movie, “The Cool Kids,” featuring Nickelodeon star Talon Reid.

Robinson is the author of four New York Times best sellers: Chasing Joseph – a largely auto-biographical work, featured on Amazon, The Keys to Lasting Wealth, The Devil Has Many Faces, and Forbidden Fruit. He also owns an international freight company, King Scorpion, which operates 40 trucks and trailers shipping freight and brokering cargo.

After ejecting from the plane, Robinson says he was both in shock and grateful at the same time. “I didn’t know what to do when the engine failed, but I knew I wasn’t staying onboard,” he says. When asked if he will recover his plane and fly again, he said, “I’m probably going to take a break and work on my 80-acre cattle ranch in Rawlins, Wyoming.”

“But I’m spontaneous, so I just might wake up tomorrow and decide to go sky diving,” he said jokingly.

Robinson’s future plans definitely include continuing to pursue his pilot’s license.
