Revo, the global leader in high-quality performance sunglasses, announces today they are co-hosting a special “First Ski” Dawn Patrol event with legendary Alpine Racer Bode Miller and Outside Inc at Snowmass Mountain on Friday, April 8th. The first tracks run is one of many fun-filled activities taking place at this year’s NASTAR National Championship, the largest recreational ski and snowboard race program in the world. The NASTAR National Championship runs from April 7 through April 9.
As one of the most decorated male skiers in US history, Miller will join a small group of lucky Revo fans and customers as they take the morning’s first ski run on the slopes of Snowmass Mountain at 8:00 am on April 8th.
“We’re thrilled to be co-sponsoring this exclusive first run event at the NASTAR Championships, which is one of our favorite racing events because it’s where the next generation of skiing champions is born.” says Revo CEO, Cliff Robinson “Skiing with Bode Miller is always an epic run and it’s a memory that participants are sure to share with other skiers for years to come.”
Revo has partnered with Miller to engineer a collection of best-in-class ski goggles, which will be available for purchase at the Revo booth in Snowmass Village. The goggles feature Revo’s signature Photochromic SuperNova+ goggle lens technology which automatically adjusts to changing light conditions to ensure optimum visibility and safety.
After the First Tracks run on April 8th, Miller will be stopping by the Revo booth to sign autographs for fans and show them the signature collection.
Owned and operated by Outside, Inc., NASTAR stands for National Standard Race and is the largest public grassroots ski racing program in the world. Each year, more than 50,000 skiers participate in events across the country and it serves as a youth feeder program for the U.S. Ski Team.
