R.V.Rugg has been manufacturing bespoke wire products in Featherstone, West Yorkshire, since 1945 and are proud of their British heritage.
During 2012 R.V.Rugg have made additional investments in the latest wire product manufacturing equipment. Investment in the latest wire forming and wire fabrication technologies means that R.V.Rugg are now able to offer improved services for CNC wireforming for wire components, wire fabrication for wire products and assemblies, and a full range of wire finishes. This investment will improve service levels for both new and existing customers and assist in developing into new industry sectors.

Whilst the country has been dealing with a recession, R.V.Rugg has continued to invest in the future.
The Office for National Statistics said that the economy had contracted by 6.4% between the start of 2008 and the middle of 2009, and had since recovered about half of that lost output.
Managing Director, Steve Rugg said ” Significant investment in several manufacturing areas during 2012 allows us to be well prepared to meet our customers’ needs for 2013 onwards.”
He added ” We have purchased new equipment for straightening and cutting, mesh trimming and CNC forming”.
R.V.Rugg works with both mild and stainless steels, and specialises in bespoke wire product manufacture to give high quality cost-effective solutions for its customers over a diverse range of industries.
The current product range includes wire shopfittings, wire guards for many applications including light guards and heater guards, domestic and catering appliance products such as oven shelves, and wire point of sale items such as wire shoe racks.
