Prosper Show Touts New Starcrest Catalog Offer for March Amazon Seller Show

With just 30 days until its annual online retailer conference in Las Vegas, Prosper Show has paired up with Starcrest — one of the country’s biggest catalog companies. This unprecedented team-up will give Prosper Show attendees the chance to sell their wares to untapped segments of their target audience through the direct mail catalog.

Prosper Show is an annual Amazon sellers event that offers best-practice education and significant networking opportunities to established retailers. It will be held March 17-19 in Las Vegas’ Westgate hotel and feature workshops with several ex-Amazon leaders and CEOs/General Managers from leading Amazon marketplace solution providers.

For the first time this year, Prosper will be offering sellers the opportunity to advertise in the Starcrest mail order catalog, which reaches about 30 percent of all U.S. households. That equates to millions of customers, many of whom don’t regularly shop on the internet.

Doug Hope, Senior Vice President of Prosper Show’s parent company, Emerald Expositions, said that the Starcrest offer is a unique chance to diversify into new channels beyond Amazon with minimal hassle.

Sellers who are interested in Starcrest advertising should come prepared with a sample of a product to sell. The product must be on the market currently, able to ship by mail, and priced below $30. They can set up a 15-minute appointment with the Starcrest team after checking in at the Prosper Show.

In addition to the Starcrest opportunity, Prosper Show has a number of exciting features for attendees. Collin Colburn, Analyst for Forrester Research, will be the keynote speaker. Colburn has deep insights into digital advertising and is often quoted in publications such as Search Engine Land, Digiday, Media Post, The Drum, and the Wall Street Journal. He will help attendees navigate Amazon’s different ad products and develop a strategy for the most effective Amazon advertising.
