Annual show for Amazon sellers announces exciting updates for the March event, including keynote speaker and promotional opportunities for sellers.

Prosper Show is an annual conference for established Amazon sellers coming up in Las Vegas from March 17-19. Prosper is pleased to announce Collin Colburn, a leading marketing analyst for Forrester Research, as the keynote speaker for this year’s event as well as exciting new promotional opportunities for this year’s attendees.

Collin Colburn is frequently cited in publications such as Search Engine Land, Digiday, Media Post, The Drum, and the Wall Street Journal. As part of Forrester’s B2C marketing team, Colburn’s research focuses on current and future trends in search and discovery marketing. He will give valuable insight into how consumers find brands and information and share actionable advice for leveraging strategies and technologies to engage consumers and increase sales.

In addition to sharing the news about Colburn, the Prosper Show Amazon seller event has also debuted some exciting new opportunities for retailers attending this year’s show. The “Product Acceleration Challenge” will allow participants to vie for cash and marketing prizes worth thousands of dollars. Applicants will present their product in front of Prosper Show attendees and a panel of four judges. To qualify, vendors’ products must be proprietary and sell for more than $20. Products must have at least $5,000 in Amazon.com sales revenues prior to the pitch submission as well as a feedback score of at least 4.0 from a minimum of 20 reviews.

Prosper Show is also announcing an opportunity for Amazon sellers to present their products to millions of customers through the well-known Starcrest printed catalog. The catalog reaches roughly 30 percent of all U.S. households, including many people who are over age 65. The catalog features products ranging from $2 to $99 and showcases them through high-end photography and a copy-written ad.

Hope said that this advertising opportunity is an exceptional one because it gives retailers access to hard-to-reach audiences.

“Starcrest is one of the largest catalog companies in the U.S., and it gives exposure to a whole new audience that doesn’t usually shop online,” said Hope.

The Prosper Show Amazon sellers event will be held at the Westgate Hotel and expects to accommodate over 1,400 attendees. In addition to Colburn, there will be over 30 speakers, including several ex-Amazon leaders and CEOs/General Managers from leading Amazon marketplace solution providers. They will conduct workshops and seminars to help sellers learn how to build more successful online businesses.
