A women-owned placement firm in Utah known for commitment to diversity vows to consider at least one qualified woman and person of color for every open leadership role. The pledge furthers the Parity.org initiative for greater equality in business.

Diestel Executive Search, a division of PrincePerelson and Associates, has joined other organizations across the country in taking the ParityPledge® to increase representation of women and people of color in executive roles.
As a women-founded and owned company, PrincePerelson has a strong legacy of workplace equality. They have been named to Staffing Industry Analyst’s “Diversity Staffing Firms” list, and 75 percent of the company’s internal executive leadership roles are filled by females. In taking the ParityPledge, Prince’s executive search team has committed to interview and consider at least one qualified woman and person of color for every search they perform for clients. This will extend to every executive position from vice president up.
“I know from my own experiences that there can be very real barriers in the workplace for women, and we’re proud to be doing our part to dismantle these — both for women and people of color,” said Jill Perelson, the company’s founder and CEO. “We also know that more diversity makes companies stronger. Diverse companies have proven to be more innovative and more productive.”
According to Parity.org, which initiated the ParityPledge, women and people of color experience lower pay, greater discrimination, and more microaggressions in the workplace. They also face fewer opportunities to advance than are available to their white counterparts and particularly white men. Parity.org is a not-for-profit organization devoted to bringing gender and racial equality to the highest levels of business.
PrincePerelson works in partnership with Utah businesses to help them with temporary staffing, volume hiring, and permanent and contract placement. Jill Perelson said that she hopes many Utah companies will join the Diestel Executive Search team in taking the Parity Pledge. “Since recruiting is our business, we feel strongly about leading out on this pledge and sending the message that diversity is critical to successful business leadership.”
