Precision Machining Technology Show 2015: Largest Exhibit Hall, Biggest Pre-Registration Yet
More than 275 exhibiting companies will display the latest in precision machining and parts cleaning technology
(April 16, 2015, Cincinnati, OH, USA) – The Precision Machining Technology Show (PMTS) will open Tuesday, April 21st with the largest exhibit hall and pre-registration total in event history, announced PMTS managers, Gardner Business Media.
Presented by the Precision Machined Products Association, in partnership with Production Machining magazine, the biennial PMTS will include 281exhibitors displaying more than 70,000 square feet of equipment and service technology used for the manufacture of high-volume, precision products. The 2015 exhibit hall surpasses the exhibitor and square foot total of PMTS 2013, a show that was honored as a Tradeshow Executive “Fastest 50” growth event.
“The continued growth of PMTS is exciting on several levels. But, most exciting is what the growth signifies for American manufacturing. PMTS 2015 is where companies go to research and invest in new equipment technology. The confidence to research and invest doesn’t just mean that companies are active today, but that they are making plans to compete and succeed tomorrow. The willingness to innovate and invest is what will drive manufacturing for years to come,” commented Allison Miller, Director of Events.
Complementing the increased exhibit hall, PMTS 2015 has produced more than 4,900 pre-registrants, a total that surpasses the most recent pre-show total by more than 12%. Registrants includes owners, executives and engineers from contract manufacturers and OEMs involved in precision machined product production.
Speaking to the registration increase, Miller continued, “In recent shows we have developed show floor features like live machining demonstrations, knowledge centers and a Parts Cleaning pavilion. These features, coupled with an increased number of exhibitors, has assisted in attracting both new and returning registrants.”
PMTS 2015 runs April 21-23, 2015, at Columbus, OH’s Greater Columbus Convention Center. The three-day event includes exhibits, educational sessions and business networking. More information on attending this year’s show is available at www.pmts.com.
