PK-80 Phil Knight Invitational Tickets in Portland, OR: Ticket Down Slashes PK-80 Ticket Prices

The 2017 PK-80 Phil Knight Invitational will feature two brackets with a total of 16 teams and will be held in Portland, Oregon over Thanksgiving weekend. This event is in honor of Nike co-founder Phil Knight’s 80th birthday. There will be games played on Thursday (11/23), Friday (11/24) and Sunday (11/25).

The two eight-team brackets will run simultaneously in the Moda Center and Veterans Memorial Coliseum in the Rose Quarter and there will be 2 champion teams. The tournament has been referred to as the best in-season tournament ever because of the powerhouse college basketball teams participating.

Two teams are included from the ACC (Duke and North Carolina), the Big 12 (Oklahoma and Texas), the Big East (Butler and Georgetown), the Big Ten (Michigan State and Ohio State), the Pac-12 (Oregon and Stanford) and the SEC (Arkansas and Florida). The remaining teams are Connecticut, Gonzaga, Portland, and Portland State.

The teams were divided into two separate brackets: the Victory and Motion Brackets. Teams from the same conference were placed in different brackets in order to avoid non-league sanctioned matchups. The list of NCAA Basketball teams includes 10 of the last 14 National Champions and three of the Final Four participants from the 2017 NCAA Tournament (North Carolina, Gonzaga, and Oregon).
