Pen Boutique, an award-winning Maryland-based shop and e-store, is proud to expand their fountain pen inventory with a Pelikan special edition pen as well as two Visconti pens, one featuring basaltic rock from Mt. Etna, the other patterned after Van Gogh’s art.

Special edition pens from Pelikan are a big deal to pen enthusiasts. While they are not limited in production numbers, they are only available for a few years before they are replaced with a new model. Each new pen coordinates with the Edelstein “Ink of the Year.” Pen Boutique is proud to be offering the Pelikan Moonstone M205 pen equipped with the Pelikan signature piston filling system.
The Visconti Homo Sapiens fountain pen features a shaft made of basaltic lava rock from Mount Etna mixed with colored resin using Visconti’s patented method. This robust material is very natural in appearance and makes the pen highly durable. The tan sandstone color pen is accented with black ruthenium trim and protected by an anti-stain coating to prevent ink damage.
Dedicated to one of the last paintings of the famous French artist, Vincent Van Gogh, the newest addition to the Visconti Van Gogh pen collection features many of the same colors he used in his painting known as Old Vineyard and Peasant Woman. With an acrylic resin shaft of swirling blue and white with accents of red, this pen comes packaged in a box featuring the painting to which it bears a striking resemblance.
