This peace summit will host over 250,000 people. Events abroad in 40 different countries for the duration of the summit exhibit the momentum of this international peace movement.

The 4th Commemoration of the HWPL Peace Summit will be held until September 19th, 2018 with the theme of ‘Cooperation for the Realization of Peace: Building a Peaceful Society through the DPCW’.
Approximately 250,000 people will participate in this event including the 2,000 guests from various sectors such as politics, law, education, religion, women’s groups and youth groups. There will also be events abroad held in 40 different countries for the duration of the summit.
DPCW stands for “The Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War” and has been established by HWPL along with international law experts around the world.
On the 19th, the World Peace Press Network Conference will be held to discuss ‘Religious Harmony and Peaceful Media’ and ‘The Mission of Journalists for Peace’. Also, the 4th Global Religious Leaders Conference, ‘Youth Culture for Young Peoples to Realize World Peace’ and the ‘2018 World Women’s Peace Conference’ will be held on the same day.
On the 16th, the Baltic Black Sea Board of HWPL and Eastern European countries jointly held a “high-level peace discussion” at the HWPL Peace Training Institute in Gyeonggi-do, Gyeonggi Province, to discuss ways to develop the DPCW into international law.
The HWPL and Baltic Black Sea Board of Directors signed a “Peace Palace Agreement” MOU after the discussion. The two groups shared the view that it is important to establish a common and collaborative approach to achieve peace and end global disputes, which is the highest priority as partners in peace projects.
