Panoramic & Vision Publishing is announcing the release of The Mighty Ninja: Being Kind, the first in an 8-book children’s series designed for children ages 3-7. The Mighty Ninja is currently available wherever books are sold, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Wal-Mart.

Author Isabella Blackmore says her mission with The Mighty Ninja and the entire series is to pique children’s interest in reading, and establish a strong foundation for reading. “Children have to learn to read, comprehend, and understand, and once they do, they become lifelong learners and the world is their limit.”

Blackmore, an elementary classroom teacher for nearly 30 years, started the series with this topic because of the behavior she’s seen during school. “I truly want to get young children to be kind and respectful to one another and to their teachers,” she says, “In fact, every book in the series centers on a concept I want to help children grow and develop.”

Upcoming titles in The Mighty Ninja series include The Mighty Ninja Fights COVID-19, The Mighty Ninja Gets Hacked, The Mighty Ninja: Accepting Diversity, The Mighty Ninja: Self Confidence, and The Mighty Ninja: Homelessness. Themes interwoven throughout all the titles will include how to interact in a group of others, as well as how to treat people with honor. “The Mighty Ninja teaches children to be compassionate and gentle with everyone, and this book series will emphasize the most important lesson, ‘if you are kind, kindness will come back to you.’”

Colorful illustrations and funny rhymes will show children how to respect other people and help others in need. “I chose the ninja character to feature someone besides an animal that children could recognize and relate to,” Blackmore says, “A ninja represents strength, no fear, he can hop and chop, he can peak and sneak. But still has a childlike charm, and most of all, The Mighty Ninja is very kind.”

Blackmore has served on statewide and local curriculum committees throughout her career along with being an academic coach for teachers. She resides in North Carolina with her husband of 24 years and their son.
