Optilogic, supply chain design software innovator, today announced it will host OptiCon 2023, the supply chain network design event of the year. The three-day conference will take place on June 6-9, at the Blue LLama Jazz Club in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
OptiCon draws together supply chain design professionals from an array of industries for hands-on product training, customer case studies, personalized advice from experts, focused breakout sessions, and world-class food and entertainment.
OptiCon will feature two keynote speakers, Don Hicks, industry leader and Optilogic CEO and Caspar Berry, professional poker player and motivational speaker on risk taking and decision making.
“We are at a critical turning point for supply chain design technology,” said Optilogic CEO Don Hicks. “If you’re a design practitioner or lead a team, this is the place to interact with the most experienced design professionals in the industry and be a part of something big.”
Throughout the event attendees will have access to personalized advice from Optilogic supply chain design experts and test new Cosmic Frog features in the Design Lab.
Featured OptiCon sessions include:
- Pre-event supply chain design training: Course choices for beginners to experienced users, including Getting Started with Cosmic Frog, Introduction to Simulation in Supply Chain Design, Maximizing Your Cosmic Frog Experience, Risk Engine, and more.
- Optilogic vision and roadmap: Product strategy leaders will share upcoming cutting-edge capabilities and how Cosmic Frog will continue to evolve and improve to meet the demands of complex supply chains and distributed design teams.
- Intelligent greenfield and cost-to-serve analysis: How to set up and run Intelligent Greenfield analysis models including advanced features; how landing cost is calculated, and how to leverage cost to serve results to identify areas in the network with highest to least profit.
- How to consider risk in supply chain network design: Where global companies are performing well in risk and where they’re falling short, steps to quantifying risk in potential supply chain changes using Cosmic Frog, and how to utilize your Opti-Risk score to design a more resilient supply chain.
- Using simulation optimization for inventory strategy: Why a combined optimization and simulation approach is the new way to capture real-world variability affecting inventory; practical use cases for how you can use Cosmic Frog simulation for healthier inventory and better service.
- Optilogic platform extensibility: Learn how to extend the platform and hyperscale directly from something as simple as Excel or a tailored React Web App.
- Customer case study sessions from Peco Pallet, United Rentals, and more: Our customers talk through their supply chain design initiatives and share advice for building a successful design competency.
