IEEE selects OEwaves as one of the top 20 companies in the world for its Patent Power in the Semiconductor Manufacturing industry.

OEwaves Inc., a leader in innovative microwave photonic products and solutions, announced that it has been ranked among the top 20 in the world on the 2013 Semiconductor Manufacturing Patent Power Ranking by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
The ranking is based on a “Patent Power Scorecard,” a quantitative benchmarking of patent portfolios of more than 5,000 leading commercial enterprises, academic institutions, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies worldwide. This benchmarking, conducted by 1790 Analytics, takes into account the size and the quality of those portfolios, such as growth and impact, originality, and general applicability.
