ODAAT Recovery is announcing the launch of the ODAAT Recovery Store, an online shopping portal offering products supporting and affirming people recovering from substance abuse.
The site offers t-shirts, snaps, caps, accessories, and essential oils, all with uplifting messages. All of the apparel is environmentally-friendly, made from environmentally-thoughtful materials when available.
Store Owner Levi Perttu says his mission is to support people who are transforming from underdogs to leaders. “We achieve this new life one day at a time,” he says, “never forgetting the turmoil of our past and courageously stepping into our future, while living in the moment.”
Perttu says ODAAT, which stands for “One Day At A Time,” is how people who struggle with substance abuse or impulsivity get freedom and break away from previously damaging habits. “The past is already written. The future is not yet here. The only thing we can focus on is today,” he says.
Perttu is presently in long-term recovery, which for him means abstaining from all manners of addictive behavior, as well as embracing spiritual principles. “This helps me stay positive, grateful, and connect with other like-minded people who are trying to live their best life.”
“Living one day at a time simplifies the complexity inherent in everyday living,” Perttu adds, “because when people can just slow down, they can get a lot more done and ultimately live better.” Doing so is also key to avoiding the mistake of placing too much energy on trying to control the future.
A portion of the proceeds from every purchase at https://odaatrecovery.store directly supports a recovery organization. ODAAT recovery constantly evolves its partnerships with organizations, to be able to support a broad base of community resources.
