Obamacare Reporter Breaks 50,000 Visitors

ObamacareReporter.com passed the 50,000 unique visitor mark on February 5, 2014.

The Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, remains one of the most reported stories in America, according to Jenn X, editor of ObamacareReporter.com, a website that features Obamacare “News as it Brews.”
Jenn posts news, videos and blogs about Obamacare, and the website saw more than 50,000 unique visitors on February 5, 2014. The site began building traffic in the fall, and reached the 10,000 visitor milestone in early October.
A former bartender, Jenn X posts what looks like a wild mish-mash of stories and videos on the site, but there is a sense of order behind the hundreds of headlines available at any time. Keeping up with the pace of Obamacare-related news is a daily challenge.
“I have about a week’s worth of videos and news stories up at any time,” Jenn said. ”You can get a feel for what the media is saying about Obamacare just by looking at the page. It’s like a snapshot of Obamacare at any given moment.”
The debate over Obamacare has gone through several noticable cycles, according to Jenn, with the latest cycle being nationwide implementation after the disasterous October 1, 2013 roll-out. That event saw the government’s main website, healthcare.gov, become the butt of jokes after it crashed. The current cycle is more balanced, Jenn said, yet negative coverage is still much more common than positive coverage.
