Nugget Markets to Sponsor Sacramento Speakers Series

Sacramento Speakers Series announced today that Nugget Markets has again agreed to sponsor the upcoming 2014-2015 season. This exciting season starts during Sacramento’s own Farm to Fork week with food pioneer Alice Waters speaking on Tuesday, September 23, 2014. The series lineup also features former Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates, world renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, television journalist Anderson Cooper, long-distance swimmer Diana Nyad and New York Times columnist David Brooks.

Managing principal and attorney Mitchell Ostwald describes the partnership with Nugget Markets as “a great benefit for Series subscribers. Nugget is a local, family-owned grocer known for its exceptional service, huge selection, and quality meat, produce, deli and bakery items.  Last season Nugget created a stunning food display in the theater, and we are excited for their upcoming efforts at the Alice Waters event.”
