Malaysia Innovation Foundation (YIM) is an agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) that is tasked to translate innovation to wealth, strive to transform innovative mindsets through their projects. YIM acts as a platform to discover, develop and match innovation development funds with a network of more than 4,000 innovators nationwide. YIM is focused on promoting and cultivate potential grassroots innovations and potential social innovations to be commercialised while improving the well-being and the quality of life of Malaysia’s citizens especially in targeting B40s, children and youth, women, rural fold, people with disabilities (OKU) and non-governmental organisations. In addition to this, YIM is implementing initiatives that are in line with Government policy to ensure the country has the highly knowledgeable, multi-skilled, creative, and innovative human capital to meet the needs of the country by 2050 especially to support the 4IR and STIE policy.
