Maizis & Miller announces their online platform Mechanics Hub has reached over 20k users since site launch.
TORONTO, ON (PRUnderground) June 4th, 2014
The world’s largest website dedicated to mechanics, MECHANICS HUB, observes a significant milestone this month.
The prominent, free online resource and social networking platform has achieved the 20 thousand mark of user memberships across North America as of May 30th, less than five years since its launch in January 2009.
On this milestone, Ron Maizis, Senior Vice President of Maizis & Miller, the corporation responsible for the development and day-to-day management of Mechanics Hub shares, “We are always implementing new ideas and innovative ways to connect mechanics around the world via the Hub. Our passion is meeting the needs and wants of our users. Reaching this milestone is the direct result of our efforts. We continue to improve our platform to become the world’s most recognized source for everything mechanic.”
Mechanics Hub began as an online resource for diesel mechanics and industry professionals, quickly evolving to include training resources, job postings, industry articles, trade-related content and social functionality including forums, communities and social network integration. Regular new features have greatly helped Mechanics Hub to position itself as the go-to-place for professional mechanics and industry leaders.
The latest edition to Mechanics Hub is online testing. Some of the world’s leading educational facilitates have provided the Hub with exclusive access to share proprietary tests and exams for users to access and use.
“These exams are exciting. There’s not too many places online that really test the knowledge and expertise of a diesel mechanic, especially when it comes to heavy equipment,” says Jason Van Pelt, General Manager of Maizis & Miller Recruitment Specialists. “We’re confident the Mechanics Hub online community will flourish with the addition of these new features. Our team will continue to refine and enhance the Hub and all of its capacities to engage our existing users and attract more new members online,” adds Ron Maizis.
As Mechanics Hub moves towards a larger user base, it plans to further strengthen its unique features, social networking capabilities and with the launch of online testing, an array of exams that cover every piece of diesel equipment imaginable. There are also plans to expand the community globally.
With the goal of becoming the world’s leading mechanic website, resource and niche online social community, Maizis & Miller’s SVP Ron Maizis concludes, “We’re celebrating this milestone with our users who are the ones that made this possible. That is why Mechanics Hub exists. We’re giving back to the mechanic community.”
