New keyword features added to Vetology’s AI veterinary software in response to demand

Vetology® Innovations, LLC, an advanced veterinary technology and innovation company, announced [day] the addition of a new keyword search functionality for its artificial intelligence (AI) radiology software, enhancing the abilities of this first-of-its-kind software .

Veterinary professionals already using Vetology AI will immediately be able to access the new keyword search functionality of the system, which scans over 5 million unique X-Ray images and 500,000 cases housed in Vetology’s® database.

Using the new search function will allow veterinary professionals to comparatively evaluate new patient X-Rays in accordance with previously diagnosed cases from across the nation.

Both automated heart evaluation tools work within the Vetology® AI dashboard automatically when a clinic sends an X-Ray to the secure Vetology® cloud. There, the software automatically evaluates an animal’s heart size and the comparative size of the heart in relation to the vertebral body size, creating a vertebral heart score. This process results in a Vetology AI heart evaluation report being back into the veterinarian’s hands as quickly as 90 seconds after the X-rays have fully uploaded.
