One High Point University Student to Receive Complete Studio NYC Design Dorm Room Makeover

Founder and Creative Director of Design Works International, Nancy Fire, will appear at the High Point Market home furnishings industry trade show April 14 – 18 to introduce her new collection of carefree, nature-inspired and affordable home furnishings. Manufactured in partnership with leading floor covering and home accents manufacturer, Nourison, and marketed under the Studio NYC Design brand, the new collection features a modern line of coordinated room furnishings, value-priced and aimed at the growing millennial market.
Nancy Fire is the designer behind Studio NYC Design, a trend-driven line of home furnishings. The brand is collaborating with Nourison in developing a stylish collection of rugs, pillows, and throws for today’s updated sensibility and modern style.

The new value-driven home furnishings line will appeal to a new generation of millennial decorators,” said Creative Director Nancy Fire, the force behind the new brand. “We can’t wait to showcase our new furnishings industry retail partners at High Point Market.”
As part of the line’s introduction, Studio NYC Design will be giving one lucky High Point University student a complete dorm room furnishing makeover featuring SNYCD rugs, pillows and throws from Nourison as well as Studio NYC Design’s fabric collection, including an embroidered fabric from the design studio’s second collection that will launch at Showtime Market in High Point this June. Local media will be on hand to cover the room’s transformation from drab to hip.
