MOS Equipment Expands Product Line to Include Forensic Analysis Enclosures and Faraday Dry Bags

MOS Equipment announces the release of five new products to the Mission Darkness faraday bag and analysis enclosure product line designed specifically for military and law enforcement forensics. The new products include the BlockBox Touch, BlockBox Touch USB 3, BlockBox Lab, Dry Shield Faraday Backpack 40L, and Dry Shield Faraday Tote 15L. All of the items were first showcased at this year’s Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC.

The BlockBox Touch series includes the BlockBox Touch USB 3, a shielded device analysis and triage kit including a USB 3.0 filter for extracting data at high speeds, as well as the BlockBox Touch, a similarly designed RF enclosure for shielded touch screen device operation which does not include a USB filter. Both enclosures include collapsible padded walls, built-in conductive glove, device preview window, and large interior space allowing the user to interrogate mobile devices while remaining shielded from wireless communication or corruption. The portability enables forensic investigators to conduct analysis from any remote location, particularly military cellular phone exploitation (CELLEX) operations.

The BlockBox Lab is a hard-sided forensic analysis enclosure for investigating devices and extracting information over USB port while shielded from signals. The lab includes conductive gloves for both hands to operate and interrogate devices inside, a viewing window, AC power strip, LED light array, set of extra gloves, and two USB ports for extracting data at high speeds. The heavy-duty BlockBox Lab is constructed of a durable outer aluminum casting with RF absorbent foam lining the inside walls offering extreme device protection and isolation.

The Dry Shield bags are weatherproof and waterproof bags for shielding electronic devices from RF signals during travel, in rain or snow, dirt, and anywhere near water. The Dry Shield 40L Backpack is an extra large fully submersible faraday enclosure with an outer MOLLE webbing system for modular accessories. The Dry Shield 15L Tote is a medium sized submersible faraday enclosure with transformable dimensions.
