MIRAPeel is a serum delivery system that was developed in Germany and can leave you with a beautiful, smooth complexion.
It combines hydrafacial and wet microneedling into one treatment to repair, hydrate, and nourish aging skin. “We are so glad that MIRAPeel is part of our services as it can address a wide array of skin concerns. There are three steps to the MIRAPeel treatment. During step one, abrasion and infusion, the top, outermost layers of skin are gently and safely ablated with a special razor-like head. Also, a proprietary serum that’s ideal for your skin concerns is infused into your skin.
Step two, wet micro-protrusion involves tiny 0.25mm needles being rolled across the skin with a flow of serums. You can think of this step as microneedling with a wet component. In the third and final step, LED utilizes two LED lights to calm the skin and promote collagen production. At the end of the treatment, a soothing mask will be applied to your face and decollete.
After a MIRAPeel treatment, you may experience a bit of minor bruising and redness which will fade within a few days. You’ll begin to enjoy the beautiful “MIRAwow” effect! Results will continue for a few weeks after treatment. One month post treatment, however, is when collagen has increased and results will become the most apparent.
For optimal results, Dr. Schwartz recommends six to eight weekly sessions followed by quarterly maintenance. There is absolutely no downtime, discomfort, or blood involved in this non-invasive, skin-changing treatment.
