METALCO Builds Custom Outdoor Enclosure at New Destination Dick’s Sporting Goods Venue In Rochester, New York

METALCO by MFR Manufacturing Corp, Inc., specializing in the production of innovative architectural metal products with over thirty years of developing and perfecting innovative architectural security fence and railing systems, gates and screens, is excited to announce partnering with Dick’s Sporting Goods®, Inc. in constructing a custom enclosure to provide 17,000 square feet of activity space for patrons at the new destination sports store in the Rochester, New York area. Dick’s is the leading omnichannel sporting goods retailer offering an extensive assortment of authentic, high-quality sports equipment, apparel, footwear, and accessories.

The enclosure is a custom-designed fence system scaling 47-feet tall with a 45-degree, 4-foot angled return on top. Based on the METALCO TWINBAR panel design, the system also provides a large slide gate and field divider netting. Situated at the Eastview Mall, the 100,000 square foot retail mega-outlet is the first of its kind and will provide opportunities for guests to use the enclosed space for track meets and rock climbing to community gatherings, field days, training, and other types of sports practice.
