MC2 Miami Caribbean Code Celebrates Caribbean Heritage Month with MC2 Regional Tech Summit

To commemorate Caribbean culture and tech advances, MC2 will host a daylong conference aimed at tech businesses in the region.

Caribbean Heritage Month launched on June 1, 2015, and Miami Caribbean Code is excited to host the MC 2 Regional Tech Summit on June 25, 2015, to commemorate the fusion of Tech and Caribbean culture.
Miami Caribbean Code strives to bring Miami and the Caribbean regions closer by offering tech innovators education and resources to enhance the area’s future business success. The organization hopes to help the Caribbean become a major player in local and global economy.
The MC2 Regional Tech Summit will cover tech topics such as trends, tips, and future technology. Caribbean tech leaders will discuss tech needs, innovations, and new developments. On the same day, the Caribbean Tech & Innovation Awards will be held to celebrate Caribbean tech innovators. Special recognition will be given to the best and brightest, while a fundraiser will benefit the Haitian Heritage Museum.
“Diversity is innovation, and with the numerous amount of Caribbean islands, you can create a vast amount of opportunity in the Tech ecosystem,” said Miami Caribbean Code co-founder Eveline Pierre.
