The first of May is almost upon us and that can only mean one thing, our first May Bank Holiday! If like us, you too enjoy getting out and about, Manchester is the place to head. With it’s vibrant atmosphere, fantastic museums and exhibitions, theatres and not forgetting shops there is always something happening. This coming Bank Holiday sees The Dixie Chicks performing at Manchester Arena on Saturday the 30th April, followed by the Harlem Globetrotters on Sunday 1st May.

If you’re going to either of theses events and are looking for bars in Manchester look no further than the newly renovated Corn Exchange (formerly the Triangle). The Corn Exchange now houses some fantastic bars and restaurants. With famous names to choose from including; Pizza Express, Tampopo and Byron, the Corn Exchange caters for everybody’s taste.

Just looking for drinks? Cabana and Wahaca off fantastic cocktails as well as select wines and beers and all under one roof. As we all know the bank holiday weather is famously unpredictable, no need to worry in The Corn Exchange, our undercover courtyard offers all the protection you (may) need from the famous Mancunian weather! At only 5 minutes walking distance from Victoria train station, the Corn Exchange offers some of the best bars in Manchester.

Its central location is not only ideal for Manchester Arena, it is also situated perfectly for those of you looking for a break from a days shopping, opposite Selfridges and Harvey Nichols the Corn Exchange is the perfect stop off if you’re in need of a light refreshment (or indeed a glass of Prosecco over lunch)
