Manahawkin Kia and Manahawkin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram fill the pantries of 4 New Jersey food banks

The month of October at Difeo Automotive’s Manahawkin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Manahawkin Kia is our annual food drive to support Southern Ocean County food banks.

This years food drive was our largest one ever bringing in more food than we did in the past 3 years combined. Blaise Scibetta, General Manager, Difeo Automotive believes the growth is a combination of the community stepping up behind a good cause and the aggressive savings program we provided car buyers. “In years past we have offered $1000 off any new vehicle for a single bag of groceries. This year we offered $2000 off for 2 bags and $3000 off for 3 bags. The food started rolling in from both people buying cars and people that just wanted to help” says Scibetta.

Dealership employees and their family members are filling up several large RAM PROMASTER Vans for the journey to Ken’s Kitchen, Barnegat Food Pantry, Manahawkin Baptist Church and GRACE CALVARY CHURCH.

“Although our food drive is over, these four local food banks and others take non- perishable food year round to help less fortunate families put food on the table. It’s especially important during the Holidays and throughout the winter ” says Scibetta.
