In this season of giving, we are pleased to highlight charities supported by our lawyers this year:
Caring for Cambodia (CFC) is changing the future of Cambodia, one child at a time. CFC currently works with over 6,800 children from preschool through high school, equipping them with the tools they need to lift their families out of poverty.
Doctors without Borders, or “Medecins sans Frontieres,” is an independent, global movement providing medical aid where it’s needed most, based on principles of independence, neutrality and impartiality.
EHP’s mission is to provide compassionate, dignified and practical assistance to families and individuals experiencing economic and personal hardship. We offer material help, support services, and advocacy for our neighbors in need, in a challenging and rapidly changing environment.
Equal Justice America is an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation established in 1993. EJA has become a national leader in providing opportunities for law students to work with organizations that deliver civil legal services to those most in need. Our efforts expose a new generation of future lawyers to the urgency of pro bono assistance to our most vulnerable citizens. Students at more than 80 law schools now have the opportunity to take part in the Equal Justice America Fellowship Program.

Palo Alto Partners in Education
Palo Alto Partners in Education (PiE) is the only non-profit educational foundation devoted exclusively to raising money for all Palo Alto Unified School District (PAUSD) schools, and the only foundation dedicated to raising funds to pay for PAUSD teachers and staff.
Second Harvest of Silicon Valley.
Founded in 1974, Second Harvest of Silicon Valley is one of the largest food banks in the nation and a trusted nonprofit leader in ending local hunger. The organization distributes nutritious groceries through a network of more than 300 partners at drive-thru and walk-up sites across Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) 11-99 Foundation was established in 1982 by philanthropist, Bob Weinberg, to provide emergency benefits and assistance to CHP employees and their families and scholarships to their children. “11-99” is the radio code used by CHP officers and dispatchers, meaning “officer needs assistance”.
uAspire is a nonprofit organization ensuring that all young people have the financial information and resources necessary to find an affordable path to and through college. uAspire’s singular focus is on college affordability and removing financial barriers so that every student has an equitable opportunity to graduate from college and succeed in life.uAspire believes a college degree—and the opportunities it brings—should be affordable to all.
