Press these buttons in any area served by the new LoRaWAN networks to place orders, start web services, send alerts and count activity
Naperville, IL (PRUnderground) May 31st, 2017
IoT pioneer Proxidyne today announced its LoRaWAN Button Starter Kit that makes it easy for businesses and individuals to trigger internet actions that send alerts, count activity and automate orders all with the press of a wireless button.
Now any business can match the Amazon Dash button with longer battery life and a wide variety of automation options. The Kit includes 3 LoRaWAN buttons.
Proxidyne engineered the LoRaWAN Button Kit to be easy to setup and use. Simply enter the Button identifier in the web user interface, pick your actions and start pressing!
Customers use Proxidyne LoRaWAN Buttons to:
- Start A Task – Pressing a button starts an automated task defined on any system that can be triggered by a web services call including the popular Zapier, IFTTT or any similar services.
- Count – Pressing a button adds to a count that the user names in the Proxidyne Dashboard.
- Alert – Pressing sends a message to a defined list of recipients via SMS or email.
- Buy – Places an order for an item via a compatible website such as pizza, or takeout restaurant.
Whenever a button is pressed, a secure message is routed by Proxidyne to the action that you choose. These actions are configured by selecting from preset workflows in the Proxidyne Dashboard UI. Advanced users can create their own actions using web services calls and tools such as Zapier, IFTTT or any similar services.
All LoRa button activity is logged in the Proxidyne Dashboard and presented in easy to read timelines and other visualizations that make it easy to understand the activity and to optimize the results.
The LoRaWAN is a lower power wide area network (LPWAN) that delivers longer range and five times the battery life of WiFi, requires no setup and is available today in many cities in the US, Europe, and Asia.
Proxidyne LoRaWAN Buttons communicate securely using encrypted channels and cryptographic identities.
The LoRaWAN Button Starter Kit and Sticker Sets are available today for purchase. The Starter Kit will be priced at $199 and will available on the Proxidyne online store or from any authorized Proxidyne reseller.
