Logical Operations launched the https://cmmclpp.com website, connecting training organizations with training content on the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). Logical Operations is an authorized Licensed Partner Publisher (LPP) inside the CMMC ecosystem, bringing 40 years of instructional design experience to the critically important CMMC initiative. The cmmclpp.com website also features access to a database of organizations that are providing CMMC training, allowing Organizations Seeking Certification (OSCs) to quickly find training options.
“Our focus with this website is to provide a reliable source of information for training providers and OSCs that are required to meet the CMMC compliance requirements as defined by the US Department of Defense (DoD),” said Jon O’Keefe, Technology Education Jedi at Logical Operations. “We are making it easy for Licensed Training Providers (LTPs) to find training materials designed to prepare security professionals for CMMC program implementation. OSCs need to find both authorized and supplemental training and this website helps them do that.”
The cmmclpp.com website, run by Logical Operations, currently offers a 1-day CMMC Kickstart class for organizations seeking training on basic operational readiness. A 5-day CMMC Bootcamp offers students a deeper understanding of the CMMC ecosystem. “We’re providing training for organizations that want to get started immediately. Our authorized CMMC CCP training will be available immediately upon CMMC-AB/DoD approval, which we expect to happen shortly.”
The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification is a cybersecurity standard created by the Department of Defense impacting over 350,000 members of the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and their subcontractors. Depending on the type of contract and the sensitivity of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) shared by the DoD, CMMC assigns a compliance requirement, from Level 1 to 5, to the OSC. Organizations holding, renewing, or bidding on DoD contracts are required to demonstrate compliance prior to award. Within the 5 levels, there are 17 domains and 171 practices that organizations are assessed against. Training is foundational to compliance program development, and this is where cmmclpp.com will be an asset for training providers and OSCs.
