Life Noir: A Repenting Villain’s Memoir — the first book of The Noir Series — is a detailed and dramatic personal memoir of Kurt Michael Brundage’s dark life: His troubled youth, his turbulent college life, his scandalous career as a high school teacher, and his criminal prosecution. In recollecting and regretting the worst choices and traumas of his life, Kurt finds himself desperately trying to convert his regret to repentance in the shadow of being the evening news top story, ridiculed and hated for the darkest of his transgressions.
Kurt Michael Brundage, M.Ed. is an author and former high school teacher. He holds bachelor’s degrees in English and psychology as well as a master’s degree in school administration. Beginning in 2012, he spent 25 months in prison after having a brief relationship with a former student.
